Double-Shaft Plastic Shredder

For Films / Woven Bags
Tires & Drums

High Torque Double-Shaft Shredder

The heavy-duty solution for voluminous and hollow materials. Powerful shearing action handles films, bales, tires, and electronic waste with ease.

Why Use A Double-Shaft Shredder?

Designed for materials that are too bulky or elastic for single-shaft machines.

Powerful Shearing

Two shafts rotating in opposite directions create a shearing action that easily cuts through flexible films, woven bags, and rubber.

High Throughput

Wide intake chute and continuous "grabbing" action allow for processing large bales and bulky objects without pre-cutting.

Low Speed, Low Noise

Operates at low RPM with high torque, resulting in quieter operation and minimal dust generation compared to high-speed granulators.

Versatile Application

From biomass and wood pallets to car bumpers and metal drums, it handles mixed waste streams efficiently.

Single-Shaft vs. Double-Shaft

Understand which machine fits your material best.

Double-Shaft Shredder

Mechanism: Two counter-rotating shafts shear and tear material.

Best For: Voluminous, Hollow, Flexible materials. (Films, Tires, Drums, E-waste, Mattresses).

Single-Shaft Shredder

Mechanism: High-speed rotor + hydraulic pusher.

Best For: Solid, Hard, Thick materials. (Lumps, Pipe, Wood blocks).

Client Success Stories

"We process 2000kg of agricultural film per hour. The double-shaft shredder eats through the bales without jamming."

— Recycling Manager, Malaysia

"Perfect for our e-waste line. It crushes computer casings and cables effectively so we can separate the metals."

— Plant Owner, Turkey

"The torque on this machine is impressive. We use it for shredding old tires and it never stalls."

— Operations Director, Canada

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between single and double shaft shredders?
Double shaft shredders use two counter-rotating shafts to shear material and are best for bulky, hollow items (drums, tires) and flexible films. Single shaft shredders use a high-speed rotor and pusher, better for solid blocks and uniform output.
Does this machine produce a uniform particle size?
Double shaft shredders typically produce irregular strips or chunks rather than uniform particles. If you need a specific size (e.g., 10mm flakes), we recommend placing a granulator after the shredder.
Can it handle metal contaminants?
Yes, the low-speed, high-torque nature allows it to handle occasional metal pieces (like nails in wood or rings on drums) much better than high-speed granulators, though we always recommend magnetic separation upstream.
