How It Works

Our Plastic Crusher machine operates with an open rotor mounted with heavy-duty knives in either a double-scissor cut or v-shape array. As the rotor spins at high speeds, its knives cut material against stationary counter-knives. The material is continuously cut until it is small enough to pass through the screen sieve.

  • Heavy-Duty Rotor: Fitted with 12 rotor knives and 3 stationary knives for clean, efficient cuts.
  • Premium Blades: Re-sharpenable alloy steel knives that can be adjusted easily inside the cutting chamber.

What materials can this crusher process?
Our plastic crusher is extremely versatile. It can process rigid plastics (PET bottles, HDPE containers, crates, pipes) as well as soft materials (films, woven bags) when configured with the appropriate rotor and blades.
What is the blade material used?
All knives (both rotor and stationary) are manufactured from premium D2 (SDK11 equivalent) high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel, which offers superior wear resistance and long intervals between sharpening.
How is the output flake size controlled?
The output flake size is determined by the mesh size of the interchangeable screen sieve located under the rotor chamber. Screens are available in sizes from 10mm up to 100mm.
