Frequently Asked Questions

Single stage vs. Double stage extruder?
Single stage is for clean, dry inputs. Double stage (two extruders in series) is better for dirty or wet materials as it offers double filtration and degassing.
What is the moisture tolerance?
Standard lines generally require moisture < 5%. However, with our compaction feeder and double degassing, we can handle slightly higher moisture levels effectively.
Strand Pelletizing vs. Water Ring?
For PP/PE films, we usually recommend Water Ring (Die-face) pelletizing as it's more automated and reduces labor (no broken strands). Strand pelletizing is better for rigid plastics or engineering compounds.
