Dive Deeper: The Working Principle of Our Plastic Film Washing Line

The entire Plastic Film Washing Line operates seamlessly under the guidance of a central electric control panel and cabinet. Each component is interconnected by robust conveyors, ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of material through the recycling journey.

1. Stage 1: Plastic Shredder Machine – Taming the Tangle

   Plastic film, notorious for its tendency to tangle (think of cling film!) and obstruct conveyors and rotary machinery, first meets our powerful Plastic Shredder Machine. This crucial initial step meticulously cuts the film into manageable pieces, typically around 1-5 inches, preparing it for the subsequent stages.

2. Stage 2: المحبب البلاستيك – Refining for Purity

   Next, the shredded film enters the Plastic Granulator. Here, it’s cut into even smaller, more uniform pieces, approximately 10-20mm in size. Our innovative wet granulation process, where water is constantly injected into the cutting chamber, not only aids in size reduction but also pre-treats and partially cleans the plastic film, giving it a head start in the purification process.

3. Stage 3: Friction Washer – Intensive Contaminant Removal

   The granulated film then moves to our high-power Friction Washer. This cold-water marvel spins at nearly 1,000 rotations per minute. As the PP/PE film pieces enter, they rub against each other at high speeds, effectively dislodging stubborn contaminants. This stage also efficiently breaks down and removes paper and cardboard fibres. While a single friction washer is standard, we often incorporate a secondary unit for clients requiring exceptionally thorough cleaning.

4. Stage 4: Sink-Float Separation Tank – Density-Based Purification

   Leveraging the simple yet effective principle of density, our Sink-Float Separation Tank uses water as a medium to segregate materials. PP and PE films, being less dense than water, naturally float. Heavier contaminants such as dirt, sand, glass, metals, and other denser plastics sink to the bottom, where a screw conveyor efficiently removes them. Beyond separation, this stage also provides further cleaning for the plastic film.

5. Stage 5: Centrifugal Dewatering Machine – The First Drying Step

   The journey to dry, clean film begins with our Centrifugal Dewatering Machine. Employing centrifugal force, this machine efficiently expels a significant portion of water from the plastic film before it proceeds to thermal drying. Since thermal dryers consume more energy to evaporate water using heat, this pre-drying step is instrumental in reducing long-term operational costs.

6. Stage 6: Screw Press Dewatering Machine – Advanced Water Extraction (Optional)

   For an even more advanced dewatering solution, we offer the Screw Press Dewatering Machine. Instead of centrifugal force, this optional unit utilises high pressure to physically squeeze water out of the plastic film. In some configurations, this highly efficient machine can even replace both the standard dewatering machine and the thermal dryers, offering a compact and potent drying solution.

7. Stage 7: Thermal Dryer + Cyclone Separator – Final Drying and Fines Removal

   The now substantially dewatered film is vacuumed into the Thermal Dryer system. Here, it travels through a series of stainless steel tubes, mixing intimately with hot air. This process effectively dehydrates any remaining moisture. The journey culminates in a Cyclone Separator, which allows the plastic film to mix with a fresh stream of cool air, preparing it for storage. The cyclone separator also plays a vital role in removing fine particles and dust, ensuring ultimate purity.

8. Stage 8: Product Silo – Secure Storage for Processed Film

   A dedicated Product Silo provides clean, dry, and secure storage for the processed pieces of plastic film, ready for the final transformation.

9. Stage 9: Plastic Pelletizing Machine – Crafting Valuable Pellets

   The final, and arguably most crucial, step in our Plastic Film Washing Line is pelletizing. The clean, dry film flakes must be converted into uniform plastic pellets before they can be reintroduced into manufacturing processes.
