The entire Plastic Film Washing Line operates seamlessly under the guidance of a central electric control panel and cabinet. Each component is interconnected by robust conveyors, ensuring a smooth and continuous flow of material through the recycling journey.

  1. Stage 1: Plastic Shredder Machine – Taming the Tangle

    Plastic film, notorious for its tendency to tangle (think of cling film!) and obstruct conveyors and rotary machinery, first meets our powerful Plastic Shredder Machine. This crucial initial step meticulously cuts the film into manageable pieces, typically around 1-5 inches, preparing it for the subsequent stages.
  2. Stage 2: Plastic Korrelaar – Refining for Purity

    Next, the shredded film enters the Plastic Granulator. Here, it’s cut into even smaller, more uniform pieces, approximately 10-20mm in size. Our innovative wet granulation process, where water is constantly injected into the cutting chamber, not only aids in size reduction but also pre-treats and partially cleans the plastic film, giving it a head start in the purification process.
  3. Stage 3: Friction Washer – Intensive Contaminant Removal

    The granulated film then moves to our high-power Friction Washer. This cold-water marvel spins at nearly 1,000 rotations per minute. Maak kennis met de Rumtoo centrifugaaldroger – een zeer effectieve, energiezuinige droogoplossing, speciaal ontwikkeld voor de kunststofrecyclingindustrie. Deze droger maakt gebruik van krachtige centrifugaalkracht om oppervlaktevocht van gewassen kunststoffen (zoals PE-folie en PET-vlokken) aanzienlijk te verwijderen, waardoor het een onmisbaar onderdeel is in moderne kunststofwas- en recyclinglijnen.

Werkingsprincipe: combinatie van centrifugale kracht en wrijvingsreiniging

De horizontale centrifugaaldroger van Rumtoo werkt op dezelfde manier als een hogesnelheidswrijvingswasmachine. In de kern draait een robuuste centrale as, uitgerust met meerdere slijtvaste schoepen, met hoge snelheid (meestal meer dan 1000 tpm) in een nauwkeurig ontworpen zeeftunnel. De gehele roterende constructie is ondergebracht in een stevige metalen behuizing en wordt aangedreven door een efficiënte externe elektromotor.

Wanneer natte plastic vlokken of folie via de inlaat de machine binnenkomen, genereert de snelle rotatie van de as een sterke centrifugale kracht. Deze kracht duwt het plastic materiaal tegen de binnenwand van het gaas.
