Hoeveel vocht blijft er effectief over na het drogen?
Voor typische harde kunststofvlokken zoals PET of HDPE wordt het vochtgehalte gereduceerd tot ongeveer 2% zonder thermische verwarming. Voor foliematerialen fungeert het als een voor-droger, waarbij vocht wordt gereduceerd tot ongeveer 20-30% vóór thermisch drogen.
Hoe scheidt de machine water?
Het gebruikt hoogwaardige centrifugale kracht. De draaiende peddels slingeren het natte kunststof tegen het zeefgaas. Water passeert door de gaasgaten terwijl het kunststof naar de uitlaat beweegt.
Wat is het verschil tussen dit en een frictiewasser?
Hoewel vergelijkbaar in constructie, is de Centrifugaaldroger geoptimaliseerd voor waterverwijdering met focus op hoge snelheid en specifieke zeefontwerpen. Een frictiewasser is primair ontworpen om verontreinigingen te schrobben met water en wrijving, hoewel het ook tot op zekere hoogte water onttrekt.
